The stone is secured in an eight claw coronet collet which sits nice and low to the finger. Six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in each shoulders, leading to a slim and slightly knife-edge shank. All in platinum.
Accompanied by a De Beers Institute of Diamonds grading report. A unique number has been inscribed on this diamond providing utmost security.
Cut: Old mine cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour: The centre is I. The diamonds in the shoulders are H to I.
Clarity: The centre is SI1. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat: The centre diamond is 0.62 carat. With a further approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.
Circa: 1920.
Size: Currently size K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The diamond is 5.05 x 4.82mm and sits 4.3mm from the finger.
Weight: 2.15 grams.
Metal: Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
