In order to protect the camels following on behind, bags with tassels were used to cover the pointed ends. These bags were called 'Uk Bash' and were generally made in pairs.

Here we have a single uk bash, woven by the Yomut Turkmen in the trans-Caspian steppes during the second half 19th century in remarkable condition, complete with its original tassels.
Size: 59cm x 36cm (2' 0" x 1' 2") excluding tassels.
