Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Coffee cans were small cylindrical cups introduced during the late 18th and early 19th centuries for drinking coffee. Mintons First Period, operating from around 1796 to 1816, produced soft-paste and bone china tablewares decorated with hand-painted landscapes, botanical motifs, and rich gilded rims.

These pieces were typically manufactured from bone china or soft-paste porcelain, thrown or slip-cast into cylindrical forms. Decorators applied hand-painted enamel vignettes and finished the rims and cartouches with burnished leaf gold.

First Period Minton ceramics often feature pattern numbers painted on the underside in overglaze enamel rather than full factory marks. Authentic examples from circa 1810 exhibit period-appropriate porcelain translucency, subtle manufacturing imperfections, and distinct hand-painted artistry.

Small porcelain items can be displayed within glass-front cabinet displays, grouped on a tray upon a console table, or arranged on a library bookshelf. Their compact proportions make them suitable decorative accents for vignette displays in traditional or eclectic rooms.

Clean gently using lukewarm water and a soft cloth without abrasive detergents, as harsh scrubbing can wear away gilt borders. Avoid submerging items for prolonged periods, and keep them out of direct sunlight and high-humidity environments.
