Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

First Period Minton porcelain refers to ceramics produced by the Minton factory in Staffordshire between 1796 and 1816. These early items are characterised by bone china bodies, gold leaf gilding, and hand-painted topographical or landscape panels.

Early nineteenth-century English porcelain was manufactured using bone ash, china stone, and kaolin clay, coated in clear glazes and finished with hand-painted enamel colours and gold leaf.

Authentic pieces frequently display handwritten pattern numbers in enamel or gold on the underside rather than factory stamps. Examination under ultraviolet light and verifying the gilding pattern against historical archives assist in identification.

Porcelain tea cups and saucers can be arranged inside a glazed cabinet, placed upon a sideboard top, or grouped on a decorative tray to add historical interest to living or dining spaces.

Items with gilding and enamel decoration should be hand-washed in warm water using mild soap. Avoid dishwashers, harsh chemicals, and abrasive sponges, which cause wear to gold leaf and painted details.
