Description

A super small octagonal silver box dating from the late 17th early 18th century, no marks, great patination. Simply decoration to the front panel. Owners initials to the base. Condition of the box is definitely commensurate with age and use. Not entirely sure what it would have been used for, but a continental box of the same form and shape appears to have been used for a solid perfume. A great survivor.
