German Walnut Wall Clock

Description

A striking late 19th‑century German wall clock in richly carved walnut, topped by a finely modelled rearing horse with a cherub and classical masks beneath. The 14cm Arabic‑numeral dial sits within a gilt bezel, framed by leaf and column motifs typical of the period.

The lower section has a glazed door revealing an ornate brass pendulum with a central medallion and scrolling foliage, flanked by turned columns and geometric carving.

Fully serviced and in excellent working order, this is an impressive decorative clock that combines sculptural carving with mechanical elegance — a superb statement piece for any interior.
