Description

Handsome stone column garden sundial c.1930. Engraved brass dial (8" diameter) with a shaped and pierced gnomon to cast the shadow. Mounted into a round stone block with lovely carved fleur de lis detail around the sides. Raised on a sturdy stone column with an octagonal section upper portion over turned sections of progressively greater diameters and a 15" square plinth base. Very good condition, nicely weathered and with lichen and moss to the column.
