A fine quality ebonised case on a raised and moulded base, glazed to three sides, containing nine stuffed birds, some highly desirable, including Count Raggi’s Bird of Paradise, King Bird of Paradise, Magnificent Riflebird, Regent Bowerbird, Black Tailed Tityra, Forest Kingfisher, Purple Honeycreeper, Saffron-crested Tyrant-Manakin and a White-Throated Hummingbird.

Provence: From a Victorian Villa in Edinburgh, where this particular case had been for most, if not all of its life, displayed in a dark hall way shielded from direct light. The birds remaining in a remarkable state of colour and preservation.
