Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Victorian double cluster rings, often associated with symbolism of partnership, feature two central gemstones each framed by a halo of smaller accent stones. Popularised in the late nineteenth century, these designs frequently featured contrasting gemstones such as emeralds, rubies, or sapphires paired with diamonds set in warm yellow gold.

Late Victorian jewellery predominantly utilised eighteen-carat or fifteen-carat yellow gold, silver-topped gold settings, and natural gemstones including Colombian emeralds, diamonds, rubies, and pearls. Settings were often crafted with openwork under-galleries to maximise light reflection.

Authentic Victorian cluster rings typically showcase hand-cut diamonds such as Old Mine or Old European cuts, hand-bezel or grain settings, and hallmarks stamped inside the shank. Subtle variations in stone symmetry and hand-drawn wirework also distinguish antique construction from modern reproductions.

A Victorian emerald cluster ring can be worn as a statement dress ring or paired alongside modern minimalist gold bands for a stacked aesthetic. The rich green tones of the emeralds complement both neutral contemporary tailoring and formal attire.

Emeralds possess natural inclusions and require gentle handling, avoiding ultrasonic cleaners, steam, and harsh chemicals. Clean the ring using a soft-bristled brush, mild soap, and lukewarm water, ensuring the piece is thoroughly dried with a microfibre cloth.
