Good Pair of 19thc Petra Dura Marble Topped Tables

Description

From a period home a super pair of 19thc petra dura marble topped tables. The bases are carved and gilded hardwood , probably padouk.

In perfect condition they measure 60cms wide and 60cms deep. 74cms h.

The petra dura is inlaid with a chess board on each surrounded by inlaid flowers. Italian and dating around 1880/1900.

The bases are carved hardwood and also in great condition.

They were used as end tables in the home we acquired them from but look superb in any space . The tops fasten to the bases.
