Antique 0.35 Carat Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1890

Description

An absolutely charming Victorian sapphire and diamond ring. The unheated sapphire in the centre displays vivid royal blue, and is set within a surround of 12 rose cut diamonds in silver cut-down settings. Sits on a simple, 9k yellow gold wire shank.

Cut:  Cushion cut sapphire and rose cut diamonds.

Colour:  The diamonds are J to K.

Clarity:  The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds range from VS2 to SI1.

Carat:  The sapphire is approximately 0.35 carat. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.12 carat.

Circa:  1890.

Size:  L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The head of the ring is 9.5 x 8.2mm and sits 4.5mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.32 grams.

Metal:  9k yellow gold and sliver. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
