Description

A traditional Japanese wooden hibachi, carved from a single section of timber and fitted with its original metal liner and trivet. The exterior retains a wonderfully natural, organic form with visible knots and grain, while the oval metal insert shows the soft wear and patination expected from use with charcoal. The separate three‑legged stand supports the liner when in use. A simple, tactile piece of Japanese domestic design — ideal as a decorative object, planter, or as a sculptural accent in a contemporary interior.
