Antique 0.50 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1915

1900 - 1920
Description

A striking antique diamond engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is rubover set in palladium, which is flanked by delicate foliate shoulders set with eight (four each side) further old European cuts. Sits nice and low to the finger on a slim 14k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  All diamonds are old European cuts.

Colour:  G in the centre. G to H in the shoulders.

Clarity:  VS1 in the centre. VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders.

Carat:  The centre is approximately 0.50 carat, with a further approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.

Circa:  1915.

Size:  L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The centre stone is approximately 5.2mm in diameter, and sits 3.8mm from the finger.

Weight:  1.91 grams.

Metal:  14k yellow gold and palladium. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
