Vintage 0.66 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Ruby Three Stone Ring, Circa 1940

Description

An exceptional vintage three stone ring. The white and bright old European cut diamond in the centre is claw set in platinum, and sits between a pair of slightly purplish red natural rubies. With open galleries allowing maximum light to pass through the stone, and on a slender platinum shank which tapers at the shoulders.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Old European cut diamond and round cut rubies.

Colour:  The diamond is H.

Clarity:  The diamond is SI2 (eye-clean). The ruby are eye-clean.

Carat:  The diamond is approximately 0.66 carat. The total ruby weight is approximately 0.55 carat.

Circa:  1940.

Size:  L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is 5.18 x 5.20mm. From the edge of one ruby to the other is 13.5mm. The ring is 5.25mm wide and sits 5.5mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.47 grams.

Metal:  Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
