Product Description
Sourcing a true matching set of three period sconces is increasingly difficult in the antique trade, making this set highly desirable for atypical or asymmetrical layout designs in period properties and country home restorations.

Each twin-arm wall sconce is finely cast in heavy brass, presenting an elegant scrolling foliate design layered with authentic acanthus leaf details. The metalwork retains its original gilded finish, exhibiting a warm, rich gold ormolu patina that highlights decades of natural age. The scrolling double branches stem outwards seamlessly from the central columns, supporting foliate drip trays (bobeches) and clean cream electric candle sleeves.

With a slim wall projection of just 3.5 inches, this trio is beautifully scaled to add architectural presence without crowding a space. They are perfectly suited for lighting a traditional British staircase (positioning two on a main landing and the third at a staircase turn), illuminating narrow entrance hallways, or flanking a single bathroom vanity mirror and its adjacent alcove wall.

Every fixture has been meticulously overhauled, rewired with premium three-core cable, and PAT tested by our in-house lighting restorers. They comply fully with UK electrical domestic safety regulations and arrive ready for immediate installation by your qualified electrician.
All our chandeliers, lanterns and wall lights come with aged screws or fittings.
