A very fine Pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Brass Candlesticks by J.T. & Co , the one marked on the underside of its base, both retaining their internal wire push-ejectors and brass buttons. cf. The J.T.& Co. mark is there discussed on page 88, where Butler states that although not certain, it seems probable that the mark is that of John Turner & Co of Birmingham. listed in the Birmingham ''Wrightson'' directories of 1818 and 1823.
