Description

This charming antique wood deer head which is realistically carved has a dark brown and gilt finish and is mounted with real deer antlers.

This highly decorative deer dates from the 18th / 19th century, has an ornate backplate and has lots of rustic charm.

A very nice unusual piece of folk art that would look fantastic hung on a wall using the rear hanging loop.

Material: Wood. Deer antlers.

Date: 18th / 19th century. c1800.

Dimensions: Width: 22 cm (8 1/2"). Depth (including antlers): 18.5 cm (7 1/4"). Height (including antlers): 33.5 cm (13").

Weight: 782 g.

Condition: Good used decorative antique condition with signs of wear, scuffs, chips, cracks, missing pieces and scratches giving a wonderful decorative look. Some old repairs. One ear has been replaced in the past. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the wall hanging is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
