A 19th Century Oak Plank Top and Pine Base Cricket Table, 76cm diameter.

A handsome English oak antique cricket table with a 76cm diameter, round plank top, upon a pine triform base with slightly splayed and tapered legs.

Recently back from our professional workshop where it was sympathetically restored, gentle conservation to ensure it’s solid, straight and all joints are tight, it now sits well, structurally excellent with a fine even colour wax.

A superbly stylish side or hall table, breakfast table or easily portable for outside tea table, lunch etc.., a versatile and considerably appealing antique cricket table if good scale, we estimate dates circa 1800 with evidence of obvious timeworn repairs to the base which is very often the case with these simple, vernacular-regional tables.
