Antique Early English Furniture Period Oak 17thc Wainscot Chair. Lancashire / Cheshire C1660-80

A very good late 17thc Oak Wainscot Armchair in original condition, it has gained a fine natural colour, and is decorated on the top rail with similar patterns to the back panels....it has shaped arms supported by column turned uprights, which is also reflected on the turning of the front legs ... made from around 1660-80 ....the pointed finials confirm it is from Northern England...Cheshire or Lancashire......a very beautiful early oak chair in excellent condition.
