A LOVELY EARLY DOG OF FOE TEMPLE GUARD .THIS WAS UNEARTHED IN A DERELICT 18TH CENTURY CHINESE STYLE COUNTRY GARDEN IN SUSSEX. THE CARVING HAS NOT BEEN TOUCHED FOR MANY MANY YEARS, AND WILL NEED COMPLETE RESTORATION. THERE ARE SLIGHT TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL COLOURING.
