Description

An attractive Georgian oak gateleg table with two semi-circular leaves opening to form an oval top of good colour and proportion. Below are eight turned legs with traditional swing supports, united by stretchers. To one end is a single drawer. The table has a pleasing colour and patina throughout. Overall, a handsome example.

CONDITION REPORT

Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear throughout, including marks, scratches and knocks consistent with use. There is damage to the feet and a loss to one of the extending leaves, as shown in the photographs. The table remains solid and sturdy throughout. Overall, a good honest example.
