Fine Antique English Porcelain has dated this Antique Spode Porcelain Sucrier to the Regency era.
Two medallions, within which are floral sprigs. Similar decoration to the inner rim. Pattern 1194 is known as Spode's 'Gold Lustre'. 'Gold Lustre' was developed by John Hancock c.1807. He had also introduced Platinum Lustre around 1805. It was discovered that a very thin smear of gold (of varying tones) on a white porcelain body when fired produced pink & purple mottled lustre.

Pattern number painted to the base along with Spode in red.
Condition: One has been broken into two sections and professionally restored back in place. A couple of glaze lines on the base which do not extend through the porcelain.
