Description

An antique Victorian mahogany chest of drawers with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers. The chest is fitted with attractive turned wooden knobs and retains its key escutcheons. Attractive figured mahogany throughout, particularly to the drawer fronts, with rounded front corners and a moulded top. A useful and practical piece offering good storage.

Presented in good antique condition with age-related wear throughout, including marks, scratches and knocks consistent with use. There are surface marks and wear to the top, as shown in the photographs including ring marks. The drawers run well and the chest is solid and sturdy throughout. Overall, a good honest example.
