The Fancy Fox has dated this Worcester Porcelain Leaf Dish to the 18th Century.
The central reserve is unusually painted with a large butterfly and small green sprigs. The blue scale ground is scattered with delicate gilt bugs and flies. Blue fretted square mark to the base, c.1770.

It measures 34cm (13 3/8") long, 24.3cm (9 5/8") wide and 5.4cm (2 1/8").
In excellent condition. There is just one very small slither chip to the reverse of the handle that cannot be seen from the side or front. No other damage, repair or restoration. Very minor handling wear just to the enamel on the high points of the moulding in a couple of places. A really superb example.
