A large and impressive late 17th century William and Mary period gateleg table, the top with original colour and patination, raised on a base of single gate design, the legs with excellent bobbin turnings, the whole raised on shaped square feet. England. C.1690 The most unusual feature of this table is its size. It will easily seat ten and has the added benefit of being able to be half opened against a wall when not in full use. It is also in unusually original condition and retains its glorious patination and blonde colour having been exposed to the sun over many years. A wonderful talking point for any kitchen or dining room.
