Description

A finely detailed continental silver pendant depicting a woman in profile with long braids. The design shows strong Art Nouveau influence but the geometric framing hints at an early Art Deco transition. Pieces like this were often made as souvenir medals, religious pendants or tokens of appreciation, sometimes by regional workshops in France.

SIZE: 1.8 x 2cm.

WEIGHT: 3.9g.

MATERIALS: 800 silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 800 on the reverse.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition with normal surface wear for a piece of this age.

ERA: Estimated 1910s.
