This is an unusual and exquisite small solid silver and agate butter knife. The fully hallmarked shaped blade mounted on a greeny-brown agate baluster handle.

Hallmarks:

V & ST J for Vale and St John.

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "t" for 1918.
