Gents Enicar 1005CH chronograph / wrist watch, pre-Sherpa.
The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel Valjoux 92 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Enicar Watch Co name.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel. The condition is good with just light marking, nothing serious at all, and the side has opened up a little where the back has been removed in the past (as shown in the photo).

The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial, signed with the Enicar through the Saturn logo, is in its original finish. The hands are original apart from the time recording subsidiary dial. This recording dial has three large markers at three, six and nine minutes. These were aimed at the businessman who made international telephone calls which were very expensive at the time. The calls were rounded to chargeable chunks of three minutes and so watchmaking companies came up with this scale to help people control their talking duration.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
