A Pair of 19th century Bronze Lantern Ceiling Light Shades

This is a very rare pair, the shades originally came from oil lamps and would have been hung from long chains.

The shades are made in bronze and glazed with both lead and bronze, they are very strong and all the glass is original.

There are 8 hooks at the top which they were hung from, we are showing them with modern chains just to illustrate how they hang and they would work very well over a modern ceiling light suspended from above

The shades are in very nice original condition they are 10.5” high and 8.5 in diameter
