Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Georgian Mahogany Toilet Mirror to the 18th Century.
The elegant oval mirror plate is housed within a shaped frame and supported by graceful scrolling uprights with original brass adjustment fittings, allowing the mirror to be tilted to the desired angle.

Particularly noteworthy is the original mirror plate, which displays extensive and highly decorative foxing and silvering deterioration, creating a striking aged appearance and considerable period charm. The warm colour and excellent figuring of the mahogany veneers further enhance its decorative appeal.

A handsome and increasingly sought-after Georgian dressing mirror, ideal for use on a chest of drawers, dressing table or sideboard.
