Bedsteads has dated this Victorian Iron Double Bed to the 1850s.
Very solid and sturdy, like all of our antiques, and very pretty. IT has well shaped and good condition castings, featuring a clover shape in the middle of them. All in good detail. The head and foot have particularly nice ironwork around the central plaque

Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned, restored and tested for durability. All joints checked for secure fit. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Olive Oil, Neptune’s Driftwood, and a custom colour wash, lightly dark waxed over to protect, give a soft sheen and some tonal variation. All of our beds can be re-painted in any colour of your choosing. Please contact us for more information.
