Antoinettes Heirlooms has dated this Bohemian Cobalt Crystal Decanter to the 1900s.
The decanter dates to the turn of the century circa 1895-1900
And is in the style of the two specific producers of luxury glass in this period.

Namely Harrach or Josenfinehutte.
The decanter is in superb condition with its original mushroom stopper which has a star cut to emulate the body and base stars

It stands approx 29cm tall
And as it is lead crystal it has a significant weight
The neck of the decanter has oval cuts which actually make it easier to handle and hold to pour.
The manufacturing process has a number of stages initially the single body made from clear lead crystal and this is then over plated with the coloured glass which is then hand cut to reveal the clear glass.
A beautiful and rare object in such pristine condition.
