Antik Dragon Japanese & Other Fine Art has dated this Japanese Bronze Horse Sculpture to the 1900s.

Excellent condition and patina.
His work ‘Rush of a Gun Carriage’ (horses pulling a gun carriage through the mud) is held in the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, while his sculpture of the Meiji Emperor’s Horse stands among 700 cherry trees in Atago Park (Noheji, Aomori prefecture), while two large horse sculptures (one with a foal) are located in the grounds of the Hokkaido Agricultural School.
