A Carved Oak Box Settle.

18th century
Description

A very well proportioned Oak Box Settle with storeage under seat. It is well carved with the date "1691" on the top rail of the settle and is a really good colour and patina. It dates from the 18th c and later, the seat having been replaced probably during 19th century.

Dimensions are 48 inches wide 37 inches tall and 25 inches deep.
