Description

This handsome Milliner's hat stretcher which dates from c1900 has a wooden base and a top section that opens and closes when the removable metal handle is turned. The size of the head circumference is shown on the sizing plate.

These hat stretchers now make wonderful display pieces either on their own or for displaying hats and wigs. This one has an attractive dark patina and display well.

Date: Late 19th - early 20th century.

Dimensions: Length: 33 cm (13"). Width: 18 cm (7"). Height: 36 cm (14").

Weight: 4.3 kg.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age leaving a wonderful patina and look. Some small chips, cracks, bruises and age related wear from use. Opens and closes as it should. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the wooden hat stretcher is included. The hat and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
