Good Scottish Georgian mahogany work/reading table with drop flaps and drawer each side, one fitted with beige lined adjustable reading slope the other plain. Original wood knobs and bone escutcheons. Raised on finely turned vase column onto swept tripod base with square toes fitted with brass socket casters. All in fine original condition but with slight crack to right of centre top, Lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.
Dealer in hand picked Georgian and earlier furniture, ceramics, metalware and silver. Also stocked 19th. Scottish paintings and oriental rugs. Business founded in 1854 in Portsmouth, now run by myself the fourth generation near Perth in Scotland. Shop closed now due to retirement
