The 5ft diameter table will seat 8 people and is made with rosewood book matched veneers. The top is highly figured retaining aged patina and a mellow, golden rosewood colour. The inner crossbanding is tulip wood and the wider outer crossbanding is yew wood with lively rosewood bandings above a shallow frieze that is made with vertical rosewood cut veneers and a repeated crossbanded yew wood banding.
The column base is crisply carved with stiff acanthus leaf decoration above a shallow carved 'Egg & Dart' collar that stands on a well-figured rosewood plate-form base raised on large bun feet that retain the original gilt brass concealed castors.
