Description

A fiery old mine cut diamond from the early part of the last century set in a contemporary platinum mount. The diamond is secured in a six claw collet with a scrolling gallery, and is framed by six (three each side) step-cut bright green, minor oil emeralds to a slim D-shaped shank. A stunning design, beautifully executed.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Old European cut in the centre. The emeralds are step-cuts.

Colour:  The diamond is I.

Clarity:  The diamond is SI2. The emerald are loupe-clean.

Carat:  The diamond is 0.92 carat. The total approximate emerald weight is 0.15 carat.

Circa:  The diamond is circa 1920, the mount is new.

Size:  K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The diamond is approximately 6mm in diameter and sits 5.8mm from the finger.

Weight:  3.44 grams.

Metal:  Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
