Antique Stripped Pine Side Table

Description

A charming antique stripped pine side table of simple form. The rectangular top sits above two drawers fitted with decorative brass handles, both of which run smoothly. Raised on elegant turned legs terminating in the original castors. Recently refinished and finished with a fresh coat of natural wax which enhances the lovely warm tone and grain of the timber. A practical and versatile piece suitable for a variety of interiors.

CONDITION REPORT

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor imperfections to the timber commensurate with age and use. Some minor age-related splits to the timber, particularly to the legs but this is not structural and the table remains solid and sound. The table has been freshly refinished and waxed and presents very well overall. Both drawers run smoothly. A lovely example.
