A stunning large Art Nouveau dressing table tray with a wonderful organic shape and the centre featuring the very famous Reynold''s Angels, always highly collectible; five charming winged cherub or putti figures.
The silver is clearly hallmarked for the highly sought-after assay office of Chester and for the year 1906, making it Edwardian in era. The makers marks are also present, W.N. for the silversmith, William Neale. The tray is also lucky enough to have a design registration number, always a bonus. The number is 450412 for the year 1905.
A superb and very solid tray weighing 335.7 Grams or 10.8 Troy Ounces. 13 1/2'' at widest point x 7 3/4''.
