1920 - 1940
Description

This is a stunning Ishfahan carpet with a really attractive design and good colour palette dating from around 1930.

The hand woven rug has a high knot count which gives the design great definition. The madder field is beautifully woven with flowering plants centred by a sky blue lozenge medallion. This is framed by ivory spandrels and midnight blue borders of meandering vines and palmettes.

The carpet is in excellent condition ready for use in the home.

This is a good size measuring 210cm by 141cm
