Freshfords Fine Antiques has dated these Antique Rosewood Card Tables to the 18th Century.
The tops open up to reveal a green baize playing surface and are supported on twin action gate legs to the reverse.

The shallow friezes are profusely inlaid with symmetrical boxwood inlays and flanked with lozenges, with the practical but unusual feature of a full length concealed drawer to the centre section.
The pair of tables are raised on four finely tapered rosewood legs that stand on spade feet above symmetrical inlaid stringing.
