Free standard Edison screw bulbs and period-style matching fixing screws
Professionally Restored and Rewired ready to install
Finding a complete, unbroken set of six period sconces is an absolute rarity in the antique world.

These wall lights are masterfully cast in heavy brass with an immaculate, vibrant original gold finish with rich patina. Each twin-arm fixture features an asymmetric Louis XV Rococo backplate dripping with beautifully chased foliate scroll and acanthus leaf details. They are identical in design, forming three matching pairs suited for balanced placement

They have been fully overhauled, professionally rewired and PAT tested to UK standards ready for installation. They come with complimentary light bulbs and period-style matching aged fixing brass screws.

Key Characteristics:
• Design & Style: The sconces are crafted in an ornate Louis XV Rococo style, characterized by asymmetric, fluid, and scrolling organic forms.
• Material: They are made of gilded heavy brass, showing a rich golden-metallic finish with deeper tones in the recesses, highlighting the detailed casting.

• Structure: Each individual sconce features:
o A central vertical backplate designed with elongated, scrolling acanthus leaf motifs that taper at the bottom.
o Two sweeping, branch-like arms that curve outward from the backplate to support the lights.

o Fluted, flower-like drip trays (bobeches) sitting beneath the candle sleeves.
o A clean, cream-coloured candle sleeve rising from each tray to mimic traditional wax candles.
o A clear, flame-shaped candelabra light bulb fitted into the top of each sleeve.
Condition:
They are in excellent structural and aesthetic condition.
• The heavy frames retain a vibrant, high-quality gold gilded finish. The surface shows an exceptional tone with deep lustre and attractive patina.

• Scrolling branches remain perfectly solid and balanced.
