A pier mirror, or pier glass, is a tall, narrow mirror designed to be mounted on the pierthe wall space between two windows. Historically placed above a pier table, these mirrors were positioned to reflect light from adjacent windows back into the room, enhancing illumination and giving an illusion of greater architectural depth.
