S and S Timms Antiques Ltd has dated this Georgian Mahogany Wine Table to the 18th Century.
Because of the high grade mahogany timber which was used for its construction it also retains a lovely faded colour and surface. There are of course a few old marks blemishes to the top but these all add to its history and are something which it would be impossible to lose without taking away the lovely surface which has been built up over hundreds of years.

The table also boasts a very elegant column, again from rich timbers and a very elegant base with the umbrella tripod legs boasting attractive scribed decoration.
In terms of function and places one could use it then the possibilities are endless. With a practical, well figured top which is a great size it would suit a whole host of spaces around the home and also it is worth noting that the table is relatively sturdy.

As with all items which we offer for sale this lovely georgian occasional table has been inspected and attended to in our workshops by our highly skilled and trained antique furniture restorers, who have ensured it is in peak condition whilst giving it a natural wax polish before placing it on sale, ensuring that it is ready for immediate placement.
