Description

A charming little sterling silver Jewellery / Ring box elevated on three elegant cabriole legs.

The top is inset with a stunning piece of period tortoiseshell with beautiful markings and colours ranging from golden champagne to rich chocolate brown; the shell inlaid with the most charming pique inlay at the top featuring a bird either side of a classical urn full or fruit.

The silver is hallmarked for London 1928, together with the makers initials C & A for the silversmith, Collett & Anderson.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/8" in diameter and standing 1 3/4" tall.
