Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Oil Lamp Hand Painted Font Shade

Description

A beautiful antique Victorian oil lamp featuring a striking cranberry glass shade with delicate etched decoration and a superb hand painted glass font. The font is richly decorated with colourful floral motifs, adding charm and individuality to this already eye catching piece.

Raised on a brass column and base, the lamp retains its original burner along with the clear glass flue, making it a complete and highly decorative example. The combination of cranberry glass, etched detail and hand painted finish makes this a standout display item.

Condition is good for its age with light wear consistent with use. There are minor age related marks to the base and metalwork as expected, but overall it presents very well. Sold as seen in photos.

Height: 59 cm approx including shade and flue
