Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Georgian bright-cut silver is characterized by light-reflecting geometric and floral incisions carved into the metal surface, a technique highly favoured during the late 18th century in Britain.

These pieces were forged from sterling silver containing 92.5 percent pure silver alloyed with copper, shaped by hand hammering, and detailed with specialised graving tools.

Authentic pieces feature a complete set of British hallmarks, including the lion passant for sterling purity, a monarchs duty mark, a city town mark, a date letter, and a makers mark.

Antique silver spoons can be incorporated into modern dining setups alongside neutral ceramics or displayed inside a velvet-lined cutlery drawer or glass cabinet.

Wash silver by hand in warm soapy water, dry immediately with a soft cloth, and clean periodically with specialised non-abrasive silver polish to prevent tarnish accumulation.
