Description

A beautiful rare solid silver Indian / Chinese or China Straits box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with leaves and flowers. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.2cm) wide by tall by 2.25 inches tall and weighs 88 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
