Description

A gorgeous late 17th century (circa 1690) joined walnut gateleg table with rare original barley twist base and superb faded patina (colour).

This table consists of a solid walnut top with gorgeous faded patina supported on an unusual walnut base consisting of barley twist legs with single barley twist gates and walnut stretchers, all supported on turned feet.

This table is a very versatile piece, is in very good original condition for age with evidence of old repairs and old woodworm, it is of stable construction and can go straight into a home – this table will comfortably seat six people.
